Try this delicious recipe as a healthy alternative to dessert or an afternoon snack. Both kids and adults will love them!

Snicker Snackers

½ cup sunflower seeds
½ cup sesame seeds
½ or less honey
½ cup cashew butter
½ cup carob or cocoa powder
¼ cup oat bran
¼ cup coconut
Add ingredients to food processor one at a time and blend until mixture forms a ball. Pinch off small amount and form into bite-sized balls. Roll balls in extra sesame seeds or coconut if desired. Keep in an airtight container and refrigerate.

For small children, grind seeds first in a coffee grinder. Modifications include adding pumpkin seeds, almonds, cashews, chopped dates, raisins, a drop of vanilla or a pinch of cinnamon.
